Fourth Wall Capital was built around a simple premise: the best multifamily investment firm would combine the analytical rigor of an actuary, the operational excellence of an institutional property manager, and the deal-sourcing relationships of an experienced entrepreneur. We looked for a team that had all three. We didn’t find one. So we built it.

Each of us came to this partnership through a different path. Dan spent 25 years as a lead pricing actuary for one of the largest medical malpractice insurers in the country — a career built on modeling risk, stress-testing assumptions, and making decisions that had to be right. Theresa built Rachuba Management into an IREM-accredited property management firm with CPM® certification, managing multifamily properties in the Baltimore area with a reputation earned over decades. Mark spent 11 years building businesses — including ventures that made the Inc. Magazine list of fastest-growing companies — and brings the deal-sourcing relationships and entrepreneurial judgment that turn opportunities into acquisitions.

Together, we cover the full lifecycle of a real estate investment: finding the right deals, underwriting them with institutional discipline, and operating them to a standard that serves both residents and investors.
